MY NAME IS Sam Gerson
The Honest Yogi. I spent decades of my life living in avoidance and denial. My life was a shallow existence filled with shame and deep sadness. For decades, I had been struggling with binge eating disorder in silence as a way to stuff down my feelings. Even though I had been practicing and teaching yoga for decades, I was lost. My life lacked meaning and my relationships with self and others were unfulfilling... Until one day between the devastating loss of my mother and the beginning of a global pandemic I had an EVOLUTIONARY EXPLOSION! I realized that I could be HAPPY!!

"I chose to follow Sam Gerson as I can relate to the struggles of juggling expectations of others coupled with increased self-crtiticism of body image and what it means today to be an intutitive, kind, centered individual. We can not manage it all but we can manage our perceptions and thoughts! Sam always makes me laugh while teaching the concepts of yoga and the practice of mindfulness coupled with kindness to ourselves.
"Sam, since your workshop you have given me so much to think about. I feel inspired and motivated. I’ve been able to implement small changes like journaling and they have made me make me feel more in tune with myself. You remind me that my mindset is so important. And to appreciate every day, every sunrise, and every sunset. I’m just living life to the fullest now. Living for today because you don’t know what’s ahead."
